FARID MEYBODI

Farid Meybodi, MD, is an associate professor of surgery at the University of Sydney and a consultant Breast and Endocrine surgeon at Westmead hospital, Sydney, Australia.

Farid was born in Tehran and completed his medical school and surgical training before moving to Australia. He finished his Breast and Endocrine surgery fellowship and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2013.

A/Prof Meybodi is passionate about innovation, research, and teaching and is frequently invited to speak at national and international meetings.

His innovations in breast surgery have received much interest from many breast surgeons worldwide and have been published and presented in many meetings.

He is a Breast Surgery International (BSI) council and BreastSurgANZ oncoplastic committee member.
